IT Services Manager Job Description The appointee will establish a comprehensive information and communication services for the whole university. The tasks include: (a) building the necessary network infrastructure such as campus backbone, networks for offices, classrooms, hostels, and wireless network at strategic locations, (b) developing campus network services such as e-mail, web, (c) implementing the major administration systems for student registration, course and curriculum management, human resource management, finance, etc. (d) implementing an e-learning platform to support teaching and learning, (e) developing user services policies and operations, (f) planning for ICT solutions and services for various departments and offices, (g) planning for a campus smart identity card operation with electronic payment function, (h) providing support to electronic classroom, library systems and researches. Academic qualifications: A good university degree (IT management, business management, information engineering, computer science, etc.) Professional qualifications: A recognized professional qualification, e.g.PMP,CISSP Working experience: Significant exposure to the education sector and ICT service provider market in mainland China would be useful.
