帮朋友发布个信息 OSADL: Safety Critical Linux Working Group Seminar: introduction to IEC 61508 Ed2 safety process Location: #28 Yongfeng Road,Haidian District,Beijing 100094 Hosted at:Beijing Shenzhou Aerospace Software Technology Co.Ltd. November 29 and 30 2013, Beijing, China Safety Critical Linux Working Group Seminars Open-source for safety related systems has been in discussion now for more than a decade - the HSE report on SOUP for safety related systems was published in 2001 (Justifying the use of software of uncertain pedigree (SOUP) in safety-related applications, HSE, 336/2001). Ever since the interest in using the plethora of open-source in safety related systems has grown. Never the less with very few exceptions there has been only limited deployments of open-source in safety related systems - one reason for this is that there are fundamental differences in how to approach pre-existing software compared to bespoke software and the necessary adaptations in related industries have been slow. Overcoming this inertia is not a matter of a few simple methodologies being adopted but rather an introduction of a wide range of methods and procedures to allow achieving a comparable assurance in the correctness, reliability and robustness of FLOSS and GNU/Linux specifically. To this ends the Safety Critical Linux Working Group is offering seminars on topics related to the utilization of open-source and GNU/Linux for safety related systems. Seminar: Introduction to IEC 61508 Ed2 Safety process Day 1: introduction to IEC 61508 Ed2 Day 2: GNU/Linux in IEC 61508 context One focus of this seminar is on basics of procedural safety, starting out from scratch. This seminar will address basics starting with terminology process foundations like requirements, design and selection - relate it to the the specifics of pre-existing software. The practical issues of selecting an appropriate compliance route and the ensuing safety case development will be discussed. This discussion presents specific methods for mapping and tailoring standards down to interpretations of specific clauses. The main aim is to give participants a first outline of how to approach free-liebree open-source software (FLOSS) components in the context of safety related systems that need to demonstrate compliance with IEC 61508 Ed2. It is not the intent of this two-day session (nor is it technically feasible) to dig into the technological details of the individual methods/processes and procedures. Seminar schedule: Day 1:Overview of system safety life-cycle model Introduction to IEC 61508 Edition 2 Compliance routes available Selection of methods and tools issues Day 2: Overview of DLC changes brief look at FLOSS in ISO 9001 context methods for safety case development - selecting your compliance route - mapping interpretation / tailoring to your system - process data and filed data constraints and limitations of using FLOSS Registration at: www.osadl.org Fees: 380 Euro for OSADL members 560 Euro for non-members - registration
