PERSONAL ASSISTANT (BEIJING, CHINA)
Seeking a student to provide personal assistant duties. Candidate must be proficient in native Chinese and English (written and spoken). Candidates with appreciation or previous experience in fashion/home & textile design is preferred but not essential. Must be available on part-time basis and committed to duties for a minimum duration of 2 years (based on a quarterly arrangement per year). Position is considered as a part-time seasonal role. This is a home-based position, therefore candidate must have use of:
Access to the following software applications/tools but not limited to:
- MS excel spreadsheet, word and/or outlook or personal email.
- Must have use of internet, phone/mobile and PC
- Set up on Skype, QQ or Wechat
Duties:
Sourcing of new suppliers and products
Request pictures when applicable
Request quotes
Arranging shipments
Provide regular status updates on activities
Monitoring and seeing deliverables to completion
Liaise with American based contacts and Chinese suppliers by phone and online chat
Placing purchases/orders
Creating/Maintaining supplier and supply records
This is a perfect experience for students wishing to learn and develop their interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
