MANAGER’s ASSISTANT INTERN Our company: We are experts in management and generation of greenhouse gas emissions reductions certificates which recognize the efforts of companies to reduce global warming. Our main activity is based the Kyoto Protocol and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) that fuels financing via carbon credits for renewable energy such as wind, hydropower or biogas. Carbonium is a French company with headquarter in Paris and office in Asia, Latin America and Africa. Carbonium is searching for an assistant manager intern to support commercial efforts on CDM of our Chinese Representative Office, based in Beijing. Job description - In charge of calling new clients (industry and energy utilities) that want to develop new projects and offer them our CDM project development or brokerage services. - In charge of managing existing commercial relations with Chinese clients, support project follow-up, proper time execution and matching clients needs. - In charge of translation Chinese-English and English-Chinese for some meetings, commercial proposals and contracts. Carbonium is searching for a business development intern on CDM of our Chinese Representative Office, based in Beijing. Job description Identify, prospect and generate leads for the business development team (cold calls and emails) Approach potential clients and manage the full commercial process for CDM project development or brokerage deals Maintain and develop the institutional relations with partners, government and international organizations in the field of low carbon economy and new national emissions reduction trading schemes (Tianjin, CBEEX, Shanghai…) Participation in the development of the marketing strategy in China and South-East Asia.
