Touchdown! Public Speaking Club First Public Speaking Competition (Beijing) TD-PSC is holding the First public speaking competition in 4.13! Speakers selected from TD-PSC’s 6 chapters including PKU, CUFE, UIBE,BFSU and BUPT (the introduction of speakers are coming soon) will give the audience speeches regarding the hot topics, interesting stories and original ideas. When they compete for the Best Overall Speech, the Most Persuasive Speaker, the Best Entertaining Speech and the Most Potential Speaker, the competition will absolutely be full of fun and passion. It will be not only a great opportunity to learn English but also to build up mutual understandings and interpersonal relationships. Judges Introduction AJ Warner AJ Warner earned a full scholarship to the top ranked UT-Austin MBA program. Before moving to China to start Touchdown!, he worked as a manager at Deloitte Consulting in the US for 4 years. AJ also worked for multinational companies in Chicago, Seattle, and Japan for over 5 years. With his extensive knowledge of business schools and deep understanding of American business culture, AJ has worked with international applicants to get accepted to top MBA and business master programs since 2000. Besides Touchdown!, AJ is also an owner in a Beijing-based financial services company and invests in Chinese Internet start-ups. Alistair McArthur Alistair McArthur is the Sales and Marketing Director and a co-founder of IPS, an IT and corporate training company. Mr. McArthur holds a Bachelor in Business, majoring in International Trade and Management from Monash University, Melbourne. Alistair's nine years experience in China has enabled him to attain an understanding of the China business market and develop his Chinese language skills. He has been involved in business having consulted for companies both in China and abroad. He has also been involved in training multinational corporations across China with skills such as; Presentations, Business Writing, Sales, Leadership and Market Research.
