About the job
The Red Hat Quality Engineering(QE) team is looking for a Software Quality Engineer Internship to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will work on the Entitlement testing for RHEL, OpenShift, RHV, OpenStack and other Red Hat Products. You will help extend customer experience testing on access Red Hat products. We'll need you to have the ability to think creatively, willingness to learn new things, and the ability to adapt to rapid change. And you’ll gain a deep understanding of a variety of technologies for your career development.
What you will do
Feature research to understand requirements from stakeholders.
Design test plans, user scenarios and test cases.
Execute tests, find defects and write accurate defect reports.
Provide timely, complete, and accurate testing status reports
Write and maintain technical documents.
Contribute to develop internal projects.
Develop automation test cases and involve in setting up the CI testing environment.
Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of current technologies
What you will bring
Familiar with Linux or UNIX commands and system usage and administration.
Coding abilities using Python, Bash, or Shell Scripting; or experience with other programming languages like C, C#, Java or Ruby.
Familiar with open source software development methodologies is preferred.
Abilities to communicate effectively in a global team.
Team player and quick learner.
Familiar with agile project management is a plus.
