学术报告通知 3月25日,应我校光通信与光电子学研究院邀请,瑞典皇家理工的Hans Agren教授和Yin g Fu教授来我校访问,Hans Agren教授将作题为“Nanotechnology for Biophotonics and Medical Diagnotics”的学术报告。 报告题目:Nanotechnology for Biophotonics and Medical Diagnotics 主讲人:Professor Hans Agren(Head of the Department of Theoretical Chemistr y, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden) 主持人:俞重远教授(校学术委员会委员) 时间:2009年3月25日(星期三)下午14:30-16:00 地点:办公楼501报告厅 内容摘要: In this talk, Prof. Hans Ahgren will emphasize new opportunities i n biological imaging and medical disease detection provided by Multi-Photon Quantum Dots. This novel concept offers the combined advantage of brilliance and photo-resistance of normal quantum dots with the three-dimensional conf ocality and penetration of multi-photon excitation, something that relates t o fluorescence based experiments in biology and medicine. A number of applic ations are explored, in particular real-time studies of single protein dynam ics, protein transport in plasma membranes, and organisation of proteins in microdomains. A second class of applications concerns instrumentation for ne w medical diagnostic for early stage diseases, such as cardiovascular inflam matory disease. We concentrate on exploring the best-available scientific kn ow-how in the field of solid-state nanotechnology to develop a nanoparticle based bioimaging for noninvasive healthcare, and for confocal high-resolutio n protein imaging and protein tracking. 此报告为前沿技术讲座,欢迎全校师生踊跃参加。 校学术委员会 光通信与光电子学研究院 2009年3月20日
