转自王尧老师日志英国的学士及以上学位都是有等级的，以学士学位为例：分为first class, uppper second class, lower second class, third class，依据大学专业课成绩来算。一般英国学校都要求学位等级在upper second class才可以申请硕士，有些要求second class （含upper and lower),对于QM的硕士，只要达到lower second class就可以。学位等级的概念只有英国才有，北邮这边没有，所以学位等级的评定完全采用英方的标准执行，使用英方的marking scale，即40分及格，如遇到北邮课程，按照公式9Xcn = -0.05Xuk^2 + 13Xuk + 100 转换为英方的成绩，其中cn代表北邮成绩，uk代表英国成绩。其中 [ a ] 1st Class >= 70% [ b ] Upper second class >= 60% and < 70% [ c ] Lower second class >= 50% and < 60% [ d ] Third class >=45% and <50% [ e ] Pass <45% 此处70%的意思是满分100分，得到70分，此处列的各项分数均为英方的成绩。学位等级对应的分数由以下各部分相加获得： [ a ] 20% for project （即毕业论文的分数） [ b ] 5% for Engineering Environment （即大三暑期的专业实习的成绩） [ c ] 75% for taught technical modules in Years 2-4 with weighting between different levels as follows: （即只计算大二至大四的核心课的课程分数，大一不算） For students who first take Year 4 in 2007 or 2008 the calculation of the 75% component for taught technical modules shall be the sum of: （04级、05级适用） 0.08 * average % mark for Year 2 modules 0.33 * average % mark for Year 3 modules 0.34 * average % mark for Year 4 modules For students who first take Year 4 in 2009 onwards the calculation of the 75% component for taught technical modules shall be the sum of:（06级及以后年纪适用） 0.18 * average % mark for Year 2 modules 0.33 * average % mark for Year 3 modules 0.24 * average % mark for Year 4 modules 由于06级以后课程设置有所调整，大二课程比04、05级增加了，所以比例做了相应的提高，而大四课程前移后减少了，比例也相应减少。每学年核心课程平均分计算很简单，就是总分相加除以门数，因为每门课的学分都是4学分，计算比较简单了。当然换算的工作是由英方系统直接计算的，不需要我们手算，但是知道了大体的分数分布，大家学习也要更有计划。以04级的经验来看，毕业论文成了很多同学最后冲刺好等级的保证，毕设占到20%的比例，真的很可观，毕设拿到一个好分数，比如80分以上，要比你大二到大四某一门课考了80分，更成倍地提高总成绩，所以不管是哪个年级的学生，一定要认认真真地完成论文。04级有同学毕业论文得到了99.5分的高分，有同学的论文投稿后发表了，本科生发表论文很不容易，有的同学的论文成果解决了实际问题，可以推向市场应用，有的同学论文参与到了实际的企业项目，都得到了答辩组老师的高度认可。 04级毕业总人数为111人，其中first class 达到了38人，比例比QM的学生要高出至少一倍，third class 只有不足5人，且没人拿pass，其余均为second class。师哥师姐开了很好的头儿，相信后来的同学们也一定会齐头并进，甚至突飞猛进。特别强调：只有在计算学位等级的时候才不考虑大一成绩，保研资格推荐是北邮方面的，所以是考虑四年的成绩，而且各年级课程包含体育、政治、军事理论等一些列中国特色课程。请大家一定要区别好两个评比，避免混淆，自己吃亏。附件：核心课程明细 1、05级适用：大二学年电信专业： BUPT2103 Telecoms &
