The main vacancies where our Beijing office wants to recruit graduates are software engineers/web developers good at three fields: .NET, PHP and HTML. The detailed job descriptions are as following: 1. Software Engineer (Web Developer .NET) The Software Engineer (SE) will participate in the full development life cycle including: requirements analysis, design, code development, and implementation. They work closely with front-end production team to integrate front-end and back-end effectively. Fluent English speaker is preferred. Responsibilities • Producing detailed software specifications within a project, and working with other departments to ensure the specifications are clear and concise • Participate in code reviews • Working with Quality Engineer in implementing and improving quality standards and processes • Assisting in the creation of technical documentations. • Keeping abreast of changes in browser capabilities and multimedia development standards. • Working with Front-end Developers, Creative and Project Management to assure the delivery of a quality product. • Driving innovation of the design and code to improve its overall quality, reliability and speed of implementation • Responsible for the planning and execution of agreed project deliverables Skills/Qualifications • Knowledge in .NET (PHP as a plus). • Intermediate knowledge of RDBMS and SQL programming • Intermediate knowledge with Web development standards and architectures • Working knowledge of Web browsers, HTML • Working knowledge of Windows, and UNIX client environments (Mac a plus) • Flexible person with the ability to work in a collaborative environment with Line Producers, Consultants, Project Managers, Producers, etc. • Strong attention to detail • Ability and desire to deliver projects on time, with high quality 2. Web Developer (PHP) The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate sound object oriented programming techniques, clean coding style including technical documentation. Candidates must have a current portfolio that showcases delivery across a broad-range of web projects from rich experiential sites to accessible standards compliant content sites. Fluent English speaker is preferred. Responsibilities • Architecture design and functional specifications • Code development • Code + solution testing • Code documentation • Quality Control Skills/Qualifications • Strong knowledge about XHTML, CSS and DHTML/JavaScript as essential along with a working knowledge of the W3C WAI guidelines • Working knowledge of RDBMS and SQL programming • Working knowledge of W3C accessibility guidelines and W3C standards • Technical writing skills like functional specifications, code documentation and user-guides • Excellent Communication skills • Experience in dealing with multi-language sites along with experience in integrating third party technologies such as eCRM/CMS solutions, SMS and M-Sites are beneficial.
