In this role, you will be responsible for all accounts payable and related general ledger transactions for our team across the Greater China region. You'll coordinate the day-to-day activities for accounts payable and ensure all invoice transactions are processed in a timely manner. You will also verify payment requests, prepare payment invoice batches, and ensure process documents are up to date. This is a great opportunity to play an integral part in ensuring an accurate and timely month-end close for Red Hat's regional finances. Primary Job Responsibilities Ensure prompt responses to emails, voice mails, or any other communications from requesters Run the payment process and provide payment data to the Treasury team Perform system maintenance for the accounts payable supplier system Handle purchase order approvals Perform monthly and quarterly closing activities and reports Forecast cash flow Prepare analysis reports as needed Provide internal and external audit support Required Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance or accounting 5+ years of relevant experience in accounts payable in foreign or multinational companies Excellent communication and organizational skills Good negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and take a proactive approach Highly motivated, committed, and able to work well under pressure while meeting critical deadlines Experience with Oracle's accounting system is a plus
