Fully Funded PhD Opportunities for Talented Chinese Students at The University of Manchester!
I am seeking highly motivated and talented Chinese students to pursue PhD studies in Wireless Communications at The University of Manchester (UoM) through the China Scholarship Council (CSC)–UoM Joint Scholarship Programme for the 2026 academic year.
Potential PhD topics include (but are not limited to):
o Next-Generation Wireless Transmission Technologies
o Intelligent Resource Allocation and Signal Processing for Next-Generation Communication and Sensing Networks
o Cell-free Massive MIMO for Multi-functional 6G
o AI-Empowered Physical-Layer Security for 6G
About the CSC–UoM Scholarship
The University of Manchester has an institutional agreement with the China Scholarship Council to support outstanding postgraduate research students through the Manchester Joint Scholarship Programme.
Each CSC–UoM scholarship provides:
o Faculty tuition fee waiver (up to 3.5 years at the international rate, Band A)
o Research Training Support Grant: ?2,500 per annum
o Living stipend funded by CSC
Additional departmental funding may be offered at the Faculty’s discretion.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
o Be citizens and permanent residents of the PRC
o Return to China upon completion of their studies
o Hold a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree from an eligible Chinese or top international university
o Show strong research experience (publications or clear research potential)
