I have officially joined the University of Manchester, U.K., as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I’m now building a new research group in the area of next-generation wireless communications and am actively looking for PhD students (starting in 2025/2026), especially those planning to apply via the China Scholarship Council (CSC).
My academic journey has taken me from Shahrekord University (Iran), to a visiting research position at ANU (Australia), and most recently, a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Queen’s University Belfast (Centre for Wireless Innovation), U.K.. These experiences have shaped my approach to impactful research and collaborative mentorship.
My research focuses on:
- Physical-layer security
- Massive MIMO and Cell-Free systems
- Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC)
- Beyond massive MIMO
- Reflecting intelligent surfaces
- AI-empowered communications
- Resource optimization in wireless systems
I welcome students with strong technical backgrounds in wireless communications, signal processing, or AI-empowered communications.
