Your Impact & Responsibilities As a Software Development Engineer on our team, you'll: Build and optimize automated systems that manage Amazon's global search advertising and organic search presence Develop algorithms for ad placement, keyword generation, and SEO optimization Work with distributed systems processing millions of search interactions daily Create data-driven solutions using machine learning, statistical modeling, and natural language processing Collaborate with scientists to run experiments and implement data-driven improvements Daily Experience You'll immerse yourself in: Designing and implementing new features using AWS and Amazon's proprietary technologies Working directly with Senior and Principal Engineers to solve complex technical challenges Collaborating across teams to build scalable solutions for Amazon-wide problems Making data-driven decisions through experimentation and analysis Team Environment You'll be part of a dynamic team that: Helps customers find exactly what they're looking for through targeted advertising Works closely with Software Engineers, Scientists, Product Managers, and Marketing teams Partners with external companies to achieve long-term strategic goals Builds foundational systems for next-generation search marketing Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related fields Programming expertise in Java or other object-oriented languages Understanding of distributed systems and web services Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Location & Eligibility Location: Tower A, Ocean International Center, Chaoyang District, Beijing Graduation Date: Between June 2023 - June 2025 (0-2 years of professional experience) Why Join Us?
