Job Summary

Looking for student intern to work on implementing new features in
Solaris platform software in the areas of Solaris IO framework for both
SPARC & x86 architectures.
Job Description
------------------------
Our projects deliver features to support the latest technology trends in
the Sun/Oracle hardware I/O and Fault Management stack. The candidate
will work closely with both local and global teams to design and
implement innovative solutions to optimize Solaris I/O functionality,
performance and HW serviceability.
Responsibilities:
- Work w/ project leads/managers to develop project plan and technical
design
- Follow standard software development process for project
implementation and integration
- Actively participate in technical discussions and reviews
- Communicate effectively w/ remote teams in different time zones.
Qualifications:
- The college students majoring in Computer Science or related majors.
- Good knowledge in Software Programming, Operating System design and
Computer architecture.
- Strong C programming language skills.
- Understanding of UNIX/Solaris internals
- Good communication skills
- Good spoken/written English skills
- Experience in PCI/E, device driver, operating system, or embedded
system development is a plus.
