公派美国J-1签证1000Pass 约的今天上午八点签证, 昨晚把材料全部整理妥当。本打算今早5：30起床，结果睡到了6：10，起床后啃了一个面包，带了一瓶水出发了, 7：15到达silk street，领了存包卡，找了一个座位先歇了会，后排有两个老外跟一个出国访问的英语老师在交谈，我就注意地听他们的谈话以当作练习听力啦。到了7：30，大屏幕显示八点钟的可以进去了。以下是流程： (1) 在签证厅外两位武警的检查（跟着前面的人走就行，只把护照放在外面即可，以便检查）； (2) 签证厅入口的安检（不要带手机、U盘和MP3） (3) 一、二和三号窗口递交材料（DS2019, DS156, DS157, DS158, Receipt of Sevis Fee和Receipt of Visa Fee, Visa Fee的第二联不用贴在DS156表上，记着向工作人员要回报销用）,领一张带颜色的卡片。 (4) 四、五号窗口按指纹 (5) 面签。今天八点钟的签证官有五个：小屋的光头大叔，11号窗口的束发的金发MM, 12号窗口的金发GG, 13号窗口的金色长发MM, 14号窗口的亚裔胖妞。感觉两位金发MM非常的nice，给很多学生拿了绿条，我一直在心里期盼能被她们叫到。但令人失望的是，最后被叫到那个神秘莫测的小屋。我这支队伍只有四个人，我是最后一个啦！第一个是女生是学Computer Information Techknowledge，可能是专业原因被拒了；第二个女生不到一分钟直接Pass了；第三个女的也是申请J-1签证的，英语不太好, 听不懂签证官的问题解释不清自己的Research Plan, 大叔离开了几分钟去请教别人有关她的Research Plan，回来后将她拒了。接下来，轮到我拉！ M: Nice to meet you. V: Nice to meet you. How are you? M: Fine, How are you? V: Fine, How old are you? M: Twenty-five. M: May I have a look at the phote of my form? (大叔没有把156上的照片给我核对，我想确认一下) V: Isn't that you? M: Yes, it's me. 看我的2019表 V: Will you get your master or PhD Degree after your graduation? M: I am undertaking a five-year graduate program in Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. V: I ask will you get your master or PhD Degree after your graduation? M: Oh, PhD Degree. V: Where are you going? M: I will going to *** Univesity for an exchange vistor program, sponsored by the CSC. V: What will you research? M: My major is Applied Mathematics. I research .... V: Do you have a resume? 找。。。找不到。。。慌张。。。一摞倒出来，终于找到啦！ M: Here you are. V: What is symbolic computation? M: It's a new branch of Applied Mathematics. V: New branch? M: Yes, It was developed about ten years ago. It's different from numerical computaion. 继续看。。。。。。 V: Can you explain how symbolic computation is different from numerical computaion? M: Pardon? V: 重复 M: Ok. For example. If you solve an differential equation, numerical computaion gives its approximate solutions but symbolic computation gives its exact solutions, exact analytic solutions. ... Do you understand? V: Yes。。。（他真的能明白吗？） V: Do you do the teaching? M: No, I will just research work one year. 撕条 M: Thank you V: Have a nice trip! M: Thank you. V: Thank you. 祝后面的XDJM都能顺利迁过啊！ PS. 1. 签证前大家一定要对自己的学习背景、专业情况和研修计划烂熟于胸，我前面第三个女的英语不好，Vo给了她机会，可是解释不清楚自己的研修计划，听不懂Vo要求递交的材料，所以惨遭不幸。 2. 大家一定要充满自信，我前面有2/3被拒了，但我还是相信自己肯定能Pass的。遇到没有听清楚的问题，不要慌张，你可以Pardon，也可以反问签证官。 3. 我的Checklist.
