SIMTech-NTU Joint Laboratory on Complex Systems PhD Programme – August 2019 Intake
o Joint collaboration between School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech)
o 2 types of PhD scholarship are available

Areas of Interest
Research areas under the PhD programme include but not limited to:
o Urbanization
o Big Data and Analytics, Data Mining and Machine Learning
o Complex Adaptive System
o Evolutionary and Memetic Optimization
o Multi-agent Modelling and Simulation
o Sentiment Analysis
o Computer Graphics
o Cyber Physical Systems
o Any other areas related to future factories
Eligibility
o Open to local and international students
o Graduates with outstanding Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
o Excellent skills in programming are a great asset
o Excellent skills in written and spoken English
