1 楼给叶老师~ ## Two Post-docs and Three Ph.D. Students Available Dr. Yanfang (Fanny) Ye is actively looking for Two Post-docs and Three well-motivated & dedicated Ph.D. students who would like to start Fall 2021 (until filled) in the Department of Computer and Data Sciences (CDS) at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). The post-docs will be provided competitive packages and the Ph.D. students will be provided assistantships which cover the full cost of tuition and offer the full year (12 month/year) stipend and benefits. The prospective post-docs and Ph.D. students will work with Dr. Ye in Computer Science with the special areas in Data Mining, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity and Health Intelligence. Dr. Ye will work with the post-docs or student to identify the most suitable topic based on his/her academic interests and background. Dr. Ye will also help the post-doc or student to build his/her strong capability and publication record as well as the car eer development with a good timing. Dr. Ye takes the post-doc or student as a friend and a collaborator. Doing research is to build an enjoyable career and have fun. Schroeder Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Data Sciences (CDS) at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Her research areas mainly include data mining, machine learning, cybersecurity, and health intelligence. Before joining CWRU, she was an assistant professor and then associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (CSEE) at West Virginia University (WVU); formerly she was the Principal Scientist in Comodo Security Solutions, Inc. (2010-2013) and the R&D Deputy Director at Kingsoft Internet Security Corporation (2008-2010). Dr. Ye has proposed and developed cloud-based solutions for mining big data in the area of cybersecurity, especially for malware detection and adversarial machine learning, which have been incorporated into popular commercial cybersecurity products that protect millions of users worldwide. She has expanded her research on health intelligence with focus on combating opioid epidemic and COVID-19 crisis. Dr. Ye recently received the CSE Research Award (2019-2020) at CWRU, the MetroLab Innovation of the Month (May 2020), the NSF Career Award (2019), the IJCAI 2019 Early Career Spotlights, the AICS 2019 Challenge Problem Winner, the ACM SIGKDD 2017 Best Paper Award and ACM SIGKDD 2017 Best Student Paper Award (Applied Data Science Track), the IEEE EISIC 2017 Best Paper Award, and the New Researcher of the Year Award (2017) at WVU. Her research has been significantly supported by multiple federal agencies.
