Group Overview
The University Relations (UR) program nurtures strong mutually supportive partnerships between MSR Asia and the academic community. Since MSR Asia’s inception, the University Relations program has recognized the inherent value of the academic research community and the need for collaboration between academia and industry to advance the state-of-the-art in computer science. The foundation for all Microsoft Research’s University Relations efforts is a deep respect for the “virtuous cycle” that is created when university and industry researchers work together.
Roles & Responsibilities
You will work with experienced SDE and PM in MSRA working on the design, development, and maintain for the MSRA Alumni Social Network System.
Required Qualifications:
If you are:
1、Good programming skills (C#, Asp.Net, Ajax)
2、Knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, and SQL is required. Have background and experience on web development
3、Experienced in text information retrieval is preferred;
4、Passion for UI design, experiences in a full web site product cycle is preferred.
5、Good communication skill and excellent teamwork
6、Highly-motivated, with proven coding and debugging abilities;
7、Passionate, persistent, but disciplined about pursuing quality;
8、Good reading and written English;
9、Can commit 4~5 full-days per week. Can get advisor’s written approval.
