**Responsibilities** As a Product Engineer Intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities and usability of our open-source database. You will collaborate closely with the product management and engineering teams to drive the following initiatives: - **User-Facing Features and SQL Enhancements:** - Contribute to the design, development, and testing of user-facing features and SQL functionalities that enhance the functionality and user experience of our database. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration of new features. - **Third-Party Tool Integrations and QA:** - Develop and maintain integrations with third-party tools to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability. - Conduct thorough quality assurance testing to ensure the reliability and performance of integrations. - **User Onboarding Experience and Deployment QA:** - Assist in Q&A testing of deploying the database via Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, and Docker Compose. - Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve deployment-related issues. - **Connectivity Enhancements with Streaming Platforms:** - Collaborate on enhancing the integration of connectors with popular streaming platforms such as Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis and others. - Ensure seamless data flow and compatibility with various data pipelines. **Qualifications** - Enrolled in a relevant technical degree program (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field). - Solid understanding of databases, SQL, and data management concepts. - Familiarity with open-source development practices and version control systems. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Rust, Java, Go). - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. **Preferred Qualifications** - Previous experience contributing to open-source projects or personal coding projects. - Familiarity with distributed systems and database internals. - Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Pulsar) and data streaming concepts. 可直接发送简历至：hr@risingwave-labs.com 更多可微信咨询：hezijiangjiang （加微信请说明申请岗位，姓名，base 地）
