【如有意向，请发送简历至qihu@redhat.com并注明岗位名称】 Job summary The Red Hat Quality Engineering team is looking for a Software Quality Engineer to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will focus on 2 portions mainly. One is test automation for the Linux kernel by learning how to test, analyze and report kernel failures, and verify bug fixes. Another is to collaborate with different QE teams, developer teams, and the project management team in order to ensure a smooth RHEL release. The Quality Engineering team serves as the last checkpoint before code is released to the public. As a Software Quality Engineer, you'll be encouraged to come up with innovative solutions alongside some of the brightest engineers in the open source industry. Primary Job Responsibilities: * Work with the complete Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Real Time(RHEL-RT) solutions portfolio and be responsible for the delivery of RHEL * Create kernel test plans and write automation tests. Focusing on kernel core function areas, including kernel debug/tracing, memory, scheduler, etc. * Execute the kernel tests, supervise that it is done correctly and in a timely manner * Identify testing gaps, develop and automate tests to cover the gaps * Collaborate with the kernel developers, product/project managers and release engineering teams across the globe to ensure the development and delivery of kernel fixes meet both the schedule and high quality standards. Required skills: * Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field, or relevant professional experience * 2+ years of experience in Linux quality engineering (QE) or software engineering * Solid knowledge of Linux OS * Basic debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills * Intermediate to advanced scripting skills (Bash, Python, or equivalent languages) * Ability to create clear defect reports with reproducers * Ability to plan/execute tests for a release with an estimation on deadline * Intermediate written and spoken English skills * Passion and desire for testing and examining how things work internally * Ability to work in a growing and evolving team The following are considered a plus: Solid skills and background in kernel Experienced with software test planning, test cases design & automation, and documentation Experienced with virtualization and cloud-computing 【如有意向，请发送简历至qihu@redhat.com并注明岗位名称】
