Role: Account Manager – Wireless Reporting to: Sales Director Location:Xi’An Home Office Role Summary The Account Manager (Wireless) is to develop VIAVI Wireless product for UE Emulation and Core Network Emulation in the China West region as well as some assigned accounts. The focus will be Small Cell or O-RAN equipment manufacturers in these territories. This is a direct sales quota-bearing headcount. Major Responsibilities o Responsible for exceeding business goals and sales quota in the assigned territory and products o Develop and maintain accounts and customer relationships for Wireless Network Equipment Manufacturers and Contract Manufacturers for 5G Small Cell o Perform market analysis of the assigned territory and provide up to date data on market dynamics including potential opportunities, competitor activities and others for effective sales o Develop and execute sales programs directly in cooperation with Product Managers (overseas) o Develop and manage an effective channel ecosystem to appropriate cover the assigned products in order to meet and exceed company sales objectives o Maintain and submit an accurate sales forest for the assigned territory using CRM tools o Attend tradeshows and host seminars to promote company products Pre-Requisites & Experience o Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or communications-related technical training and experience is preferred o At least 4 ~ 6 years of experience in Communications instruments with background in Wireless communications preferred o Excellent sales and account management experience in handling customer opportunities o Good understanding of 4G/5G RAN protocols, O-RAN and Small Cell eco-system o Basic understanding of L4-L7 network protocol as well as Layer 1 and 2 such as common routing and switching protocols o Strong verbal, written and customer communication skills. o Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese language o Self-motivated, highly organized with strong time management and multi-tasking skills o Strong teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate with FAE and Product Managers o Good presentation and communication skill towards customers o Being able to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines o Able to travel within short notice to various customer sites If you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.
