The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a scalable, secure, and user-friendly application that fosters engagement and connectivity. Key Responsibilities: Platform Development: Design and develop a robust social media platform with features such as user profiles, messaging, content sharing, daily announcement, notifications and more from the product manager. Backend Development: Build and maintain a scalable backend infrastructure using modern frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails). Frontend Development: Develop an intuitive and responsive user interface using React, Angular, or Vue.js.. Database Management: Design and optimize databases (SQL or NoSQL) to handle user data efficiently. Security Implementation: Ensure data privacy and security by implementing authentication, encryption, and other security measures. API Development: Create and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend. Performance Optimization: Optimize the platform for speed, scalability, and reliability. Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure a smooth user experience. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, and other engineers to bring the platform to life. Candidate Requirements: Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Java. Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js). Strong knowledge of backend frameworks (Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails). Expertise in database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Understanding of security best practices for web applications. Experience with API development (RESTful, GraphQL). Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Passion for social media and user engagement. Education & Experience: College education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. experience in software development. Prior experience in building social media platforms or similar applications is plus
