Job Summary
The Red Hat Global Support Delivery team is looking for a Technical Support Intern with good communication skills to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will learn Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) related technology, take the OJT(On the Job Training) and be mentored by Red Hat RHEL technical support engineers, so that you will also obtain the working experience of supporting Japanese customers via support tickets and chat tools. You’ll also have the opportunity to get the certificate of Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
Primary Job Responsibilities
Answer customer queries via chat tools
Handle simple technical questions/issues via support tickets
Assist with administrative tasks within the team
Required Skills
Currently pursuing a degree in computer science or related major
JPLT (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test) N2 level or above
Good communication skills in English at CET4-level
Enjoy working with and assisting people
The following are considered a plus:
Experience in UNIX or Linux operating system
Experience in open source software
