But to be late is not always bad , for the people who persisted there in the chilly wind must be true fan of English ,not passers-by. Thus I met several familiars of EC. A fasionable girl , who is in the same major with me. Her tutor is the rector of Economics and Management School. I was surprised to know that she is a graduate, for her oral English was pretty good , and I didn't expect a graduate whose major is not English can speak English so fluently.I was embarrassed , for I haven't made any progress in my English since college life begun. What urged her to practise English is that she often get a lot of translation to do. Amazing perseverance , I admired. A career woman with academism. I don't know if my expression is correct, what I mean is that she was our senior by 6 or 7 years, but she always dressed in academic suits, and spoke English with a heavy but lovely accent. At first I thought she came to EC for fun , then I realized she was really enthusiastic for English. I guess her written English to be pretty good, for she could often help us pick up some words on the tip of our tongue. Amazing vacabulary , I admired. Besides the two ladies, I met a kindhearted boy on that day.When he joined our group , it's already 11 o'clock . He made fluent speeches with a clear idea .We talked about our opinions on EC and methods of practising oral English. He told me a suggestion given by a romanticized girl --- Tang Dai .Then I told him that our class was going to climb the Fragrant Mountain on Bachelar's Day . We planned to go there by bicycle but I hadn't got a bike yet. To my surprise , he offered to lend me his bike at once .I couldn't believe my ear.What a coincidence! I just dropped in EC, and borrowed a bike in the end! Thanks to the magic bike , I spent a joyful day with my classmates. We rode for nearly 4 hours in all ,and that precious memory will always in my mind. Another surprise came on the next day when I returned the key of the bike in front of Feng Wei. Li , the kindhearted boy I mentioned before, gave me a tiny piece of paper , on which wrote four words .Three of them were the words that we both couldn't express during the talk in EC, the other is a word I couldn't pronounce correctly. All these words were written down carefully. This time I couldn't believe my eyes.He told me it's the way he used to learn English. Amazing kindness , I admired.
