Ericsson (China) Communications Co., Ltd. Chengdu R&D Center was set up in 2004, which is an important branch in Ericsson China R&D. We mainly aim for development of Radio Base Station technology including RF and baseband for wireless systems. Our highest goal is to release market leading products to customers . Chengdu R&D center had successfully released several high volume products covering GSM, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA standards and currently Chengdu is the main strength in Ericsson China to develop TDD-LTE base station of which standard is well know as one of the most promising standards in 4G. Chengdu R&D Center's environment targets highest international standard, with the latest of tools and equipment for the tasks within Ericsson China, we are constantly seeking talents with sound professional skills to join us in order to meet the R&D Center's business development in China. Totally up to 13 headcounts are available for the positions below. Those qualified as below, with 1~2 years relating experience or will be graduated this summer and able to be on board instantly, are most preferred System design engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks Responsible for the system design parts in radio base station hardware and baseband software development project Define requirements and functionality on Radio Base Station products in the development projects Work as technical leader within the development projects Good ability for trouble shooting Perform studies and investigations relating to the R&D activities Qualifications & Requirements Master degree from university, major in electronic engineering or equivalent Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems Knowledge of system design activities within wireless communication. Good communication skills and social ability Fluent in English speaking and writing Digital design engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks Responsible for the digital design parts including circuit design and FPGA design in radio base station hardware development project Carry out the assigned tasks and report progress to HW manager and project manager. Define implementation proposal of product and carry out solution analysis Design/Solution Verification Solve troubles in product development Qualifications & Requirements Master degree from top university, major in electronic engineering or equivalent Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems and good understanding of telecom industry Excellent knowledge of digital circuit, logical design and timing analysis Good signal and system analysis ability is a plus Familiar with VHDL, ISE, matlab is a plus Good knowledge of numerical analysis is a plus Good communication skills and social ability Fluent in English speaking and writing Sofware design engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks Responsible for the software design parts including embedded software design and DSP design in radio base station development project Responsible for design and maintenance of L1/L2 protocol on telecommunication equipments Responsible for writing technical documents, e.g. Implementation proposal, Design specification, Test Specification, and etc. Responsible for coding ,unit test, basic integration test of SW functions Review source code & documents Qualifications & Requirements Master degree from top university, major in computer science, electronic engineering or equivalent Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems Strong C/C++ programming skills L2/L3 protocol SW development experience in TD-SCDMA or TD-LTE systems Good Analytic ability and good capacity to structure a problem and gather information Good communication skills and social ability Fluent in English speaking and writing Radio design engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks Responsible for the radio hardware design parts in radio base station development project Responsible for writing technical documents, e.g. Implementation proposal, Design specification, Test Specification, and etc. Responsible for radio board schematic design,layout and unit test, basic HW/SW integration test Qualifications & Requirements Master degree from university, major in electronic engineering or equivalent Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems Experience in RF design or PA design Skilled in CAD tools, such as ADS, Mentor Graphics etc. Good communication skills and social ability Fluent in English speaking and writing Mechanical design engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks Responsible for the mechanical and thermal design parts in radio base station hardware development project Study the latest thermal technologies and apply into the products Complete the mechanical and thermal design for assigned projects, follow up the production process Provide technical specification for outsourcing vendors. Cooperate with the R&D Center Sourcing staff dealing with external vendors in technical aspects.
