Our mission is to enhance the automated collection, cleaning, integration, and utilization of cutting-edge research data, driving cross-team collaboration and technical innovation. Our projects require expertise in both front-end and back-end engineering. Candidates with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) experience are preferred, and familiarity with AI and Copilot technologies is a plus.Key Responsibilities:Participate in developing automated data collection and web crawling tools to efficiently gather research papers and other research data;Handle data cleaning, Excel processing, and file attribute validation to ensure data accuracy;Assist in optimizing and maintaining system code for automated data uploading and management;Support platform log monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure stable system operation;Complete other technical tasks as assigned by the team.Qualifications:Pursuing or holding a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field;Experience in both front-end and back-end system design and development;Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms, with excellent programming skills (proficient in Python, Java, or other mainstream languages);Experience with web scraping, data cleaning, automation scripting, or system maintenance is preferred (RAG experience is a significant advantage);Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus;Ability to learn quickly and solve problems independently, with effective debugging and code optimization skills;Proficient in technical communication in English;Excellent communication, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, with the ability to rapidly get up to speed under mentor guidance.Internship Duration Requirements: Must obtain permission from your academic advisor and commit to at least three months of internship.Please send your resume to: bozhu@microsoft.com and include " Research Portfolio Full-Stack Intern" in the email subject line.
