This candidate will manage all changes to production databases by working with the Engineering team, providing guidance and properly coordinating these changes all while upholding a high Service Level Objective (99.99% uptime) commitment. Aside from the technical aspect, the ideal candidate is someone who is a fun addition to the team and is comfortable both giving and taking recommendations pertaining to the design of the production environment. 岗位职责 Responsible for reviewing all application changes that require database access Tune database parameters for performance, stability Maintain topology evolution slave replication consistency Enforce security and review database access permissions Design and maintain a fault tolerant Database HA solution Perform 12X7(possibly extend to 24x7 for necessary) on-call responsibilities 任职条件 3+ years managing, tuning, backing up (full/incremental) MySQL databases replication cluster is must to have 3+ years managing any of Aurora/DynamoDB/MongoDB/Cassandra/ClickHouse/SQLServer/ ProgreSQL/Hive/HBase/Elasticsearch Knowledge of practice in software development areas, such as SQL, ODBC/JDBC, GoLang, Python, Ansible, VUE.js, CSS, JavaScript, Git, java, C/C++ Knowledge and experiences of Cloud Platform especially AWS and Linux/Unix operations like: Debian, CentOS, basic network knowledges (Router, Switch, Firewall etc.) Familiar with monitoring tools such as Nagios, ELK, Kibana/Grafana, Prometheus etc. Experienced at working with geographically distributed (WAN based) systems A working knowledge Nginx, NetScaler, VPLS, GSLB, Storage (like: PureStorage, Cohesity ...)
