Evolution to Convergent Multimedia Applications
应我校电子工程学院邀请，爱立信中国研发总院系统与技术部门高级总监侯新利博士将到我校作题为“Evolution to Convergent Multimedia Applications”的学术报告，欢迎全校师生踊跃参加。
侯新利博士自2005年3月任职爱立信中国研发总院系统与技术部门高级总监。1980 - 1987 年就读于西安交通大学，获得计算机工程学士及硕士学位；1990年，在荷兰菲利普国际学院取得电子工程硕士学位；1995年，在荷兰Twente大学取得电子工程博士学位。同年加入荷兰爱立信任职系统工程师及产品经理。1999年至2003年12月，转到爱立信台湾公司，曾先后担任移动互联网应用开发高级经理，3G解决方案管理总监等职务。在此期间多次受邀在台湾学术界就移动通信技术及电信技术管理等题目作演讲嘉宾。2004年1月参加爱立信中国研发总院，曾任高级系统专家。
题目：Evolution to Convergent Multimedia Applications

内容：The presentation starts with an overview of the telecom market trend with a focus on the changed end-user behavior and competition landscape. This is followed by an analysis of its impact on the mobile network evolution. After a tutorial of the IMS architecture, a vision of future convergent network architecture is discussed. The presentation is concluded with a few issues that require attention to succeed in the evolution to a convergent multimedia applications.
