Today, networks are an essential part of business, education, government and home communications, and Cisco's Internet Protocol-based (IP) networking solutions are the foundation of these networks. Cisco R&D Center(China) Service Routing Group is focusing on Enterprise and Service Provider core network technologies development on Cisco next generation platforms. We are seeking software engineers to test software features on Cisco IOS-XE based platforms(ASR1000, CSR, etc.), the leading middle range routing platforms with advanced services. You will participate on a project team of engineers involved in development of software on IOS-XE based platforms, that may include any of the following list of responsibilities: - Define detailed testing strategies for a new product or release - Interface with DE, marketing, customers, and partners to understand product deployment scenarios and use cases - Design and document feature, integration, stress, performance, and solution tests - Execute feature, performance, solution and regression tests, log problem reports, reproduce problems, and verify fixes - Work closely with DE and TAC in recreation and resolution of customer reported problems - Automate and execute feature, integration, performance, and solution tests - Participate in test escape analysis and refine test process and/or regression test suites - Contribute to and review Engineering and end user documentation, product requirements, functional specifications, test plans, product literature, trouble-shooting guide, configuration guide, command reference, and release notes - Participate in cross-functional test efforts - Train, or help other Engineers on the team on need basis SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate will have: - Working knowledge of software testing methodology. - In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking technologies. Experience with a set of the following L2-L3 network protocols like L2TP,VTP, EIGRP, ICMP, IGMP, IGRP, IPv4, IPv6, OSPF, BGP, RIP, etc. Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS is a plus. - Hands-on experience with Linux servers. - Programming experience with C, Tcl/Expect, Python, Perl, or Unix Shell. Experience with Automation test. - Working experience with test tools and traffic analyzers (e.g. Ixia, Spirent Test Center/Avalanche, Ethereal/Wireshark). - Must have oral and written fluency in Mandarin and English; Strong communication, inter-personal skills and team work spirit are essential. - Ability to effectively troubleshoot software issues. - Ability to learn new technologies quickly Mandatory Skills for senior engineers: - Strong communicator, collaborator and be a self-starter in the team. - Demonstrable experience in driving large feature or SW development project from requirements development through test and deployment. - Solution test experience in Enterprise or Service Provider network is a plus. Be able to simulate and setup a subset in the lab. Strong troubleshooting skills in a complicated testbed setup. - Knowledge of performance measurement techniques and benchmarking. - Strong knowledge of IP related protocols. CCIE/CCNP certificate is a plus. - Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 5-7 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 7-10+ yrs related experience in software testing and quality assurance. 本周内安排面试，发放offer，入职级别G8 or G10. 若感兴趣，请站内联系。
