Asian Biometrics Consortium (ABC) serves to promote the development of biometric industries in Asia by fostering collaboration in research and development, coordinating the development and adoption of international standards, and facilitating the contact among companies and end users. ABC currently has 8 members comprising Mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand is seeking to expand its membership further.
