The Red Hat OpenShift Quality Engineering (QE) team is looking for a Software Quality Engineer Intern to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will work on Red Hat OpenShift, built on container technology and the Kubernetes cluster management system. You'll be responsible for some aspects of quality for Red Hat OpenShift, including designing test cases, running testing, and developing new automated test cases.
What you will do
Conduct new feature research and design test cases
Execute manual and automated tests for OpenShift and deliver clear status in a timely manner.
Explore, identify and document new bugs.
Advocate for the resolution of bugs and communicate the impact on customers to developers and support
Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of current technologies
Work in a fast-paced Agile global environment of talented Quality Engineers
What you will bring
Knowledge of Web automation such as Cypress, able to contribute to automation framework.
Knowledge of the front end web technologies such as React/Vue/JavaScript/TypeScript etc.
Knowledge of any of the Linux operating system (any distribution) (basic commands, Shell scripting, basic system maintenance)Knowledge with testing methodologies and techniques
Motivated and dedicated to learning and collaboration
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly
Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
