She is an IEEE Fellow and a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering. Leah Jamieson received the BS in mathematics from the esteemed MIT and the MSE and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from distinguished Princeton University. She is the Dean of the John A. Edwardson College of Engineering, Ransburg Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and is the visiting professor in the Department of Engineering at Purdue University. Her research interests include speech recognition, parallel signal processing algorithms, and engineering education; she has published over 160 papers. For her outstanding work and contribution in Engineering Projects in Community Service, she was awarded with the U.S. National Academy of Engineering’s 2005 Gordon Prize for Innovation in Engineering and Technology Education.
