The Red Hat Accounting team has an opportunity for an Accounting Intern to join us in Beijing, China.
As an Intern, you’ll be fully embedded into the finance organization and engage with stakeholders across the business including other accounting teams, Audit, Business Controls and Transformation. This internship will give you the opportunity to gain insight into the operation of a dynamic accounting function and how it contributes to the success of the business. In addition, you will gain experience of working in a global operating environment, interacting with colleagues locally and across the globe.
You will be supported in your journey by your manager and colleagues, with regular feedback to support your growth and development. You will participate in a structured learning and development programme, with specific job related training, professional development and soft skills training opportunities
Job Responsibilities:
-Participate in the running of the daily operations and ensuring compliance to policies and controls
- Develop and utilize spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications
- Enter information into the Company’s ERP financial accounting system
- Support the compilation of data in relation to various accounting entries and financial statement disclosures
-Assist with Payment invoices validation and VAT checking.
- Assist with Associates expenses report collection and registration log maintenance.
- Assist with Payment vouchers, invoices and bank statements collection and filing.
-Statistical report preparation and registration.
- Participate in monthly System Close Activities
Job Requirements:
Full time students working towards Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
Good communication skills in English at CET 6-level or IELTS 6.5
Curiosity and willingness to learn
Team player, collaborates well with others and is willing to support both routine and on-demand activities as they arise
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
Competent in Microsoft Excel – Pivots, Vlookups, etc
Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
