PSC英语角周常活动时间：5月11日（周六）19：00~21：00 地点：本部教三426 Welcome to PSC regular activities 2024! The activity this evening is arranged as follows. **Part I. Self-introduction** Please introduce yourself briefly (name, major, et al). If you are a graduating student, please share with us your anticipation of graduation. (Hints: there are exciting graduation-themed events coming soon.) **Part II. Group discussion** Theme: *Hobby* Weaving through the hustle and bustle of life, many of us hold a little cozy corner of our own where peace and joy can always be found. Some may resort to literature as an attempt to escape the reality, or to penetrate the mystery of it. Some may launch their cherished video game, calling together a bunch of friends to start a virtual expedition. Or some may just be fortunate enough to find fulfillment in their work, where passion meets profession. **Part III. Games** Who Is the Spy, or You Draw, I Guess (new game, haha) **Part IV. Quick Talk** *Catalysts of Progress: Dissidents vs Supporters* There is a statement that goes '*In any situation, progress requires discussion among people who have contrasting points of view.*' To what extent do you agree or disagree with the statement? Explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
