DB2 is made up of many different complex software components. As owners of the DB2 Code releases in service, the Continuing Engineering (CE) teams are responsible for developing modifications and/or enhancements to these components. We are building a DB2 CE team at China Development Lab, the team will work closely with SVL to provide Level 3 support by developing and maintaining highly complex, highly functional, and optimally performing systems software in DB2 for z/OS. Job Responsibility - Provides defect fix to external or internal DB2 for z/OS customers - Works with support team to solve customer problems - Develops serviceability features or tools for DB2 z/OS Job Requirements - Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - Passion for System level development - Strong knowledge of Relational Database - Knowledge of C/C++ or Java Programming Language - Fluent in oral and written English - Knowledge of PL/X is big plus - Knowledge of z/OS administration, COBOL programming is big plus - Experience on DB2 (Linux, Unix, Windows)/Oracle/SQL Server is big plus
