The candidate is expected to conduct research on online optimization and online algorithm design with applications to network resource allocation. Required Qualifications - PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering by the time of their appointment. PhD must be awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of appointment with a minimum of one year eligibility remaining. - Demonstrated research experience in online optimization and online algorithm design demonstrated through publications in top-tier international conferences (POMACS, Sigmetrics, MobiHoc, INFOCOM, CDC, etc.). - Good English communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Expertise in network resource allocation and stochastic optimization, as well as a deep understanding of mobile computing systems in practice.
