The Lync Management team in OLS-China is looking for a motivated and passionate software development engineer. You’ll work with a group of very smart, motivated and passionate people to deliver high quality manageability solution for millions of Lync customers in the world. Primary responsibilities include designing and developing the easy and powerful to use server/service manageability user experience for both on premise Lync server Admins and online Lync service tenant Admins. In the next release we will mainly focus on service manageability. How to make the manageability of millions of users and thousands of servers in data center more powerful and more efficient to ensure the service can run reliably and users can use it conveniently without any glitch is a top priority. It is a very hard problem to solve given the scale of the service. How well we can solve that problem is critical to the future success of the Lync service which is an important building block of Office 365 service. You must have a solid track record of shipping high quality product on time. You must be strong at design and development. You must be willing to take challenges to get thing done even in the condition of ambiguity and uncertainty. You must be very experienced at collaboration and communication. You need to have a lot of innovative thinking as we need to solve a lot of problems which have not been solved before. You need to be passionate for engineering excellence and be able to drive it. You should also meet the following qualifications: 1. Passionate about technology, software quality, highly motivated, self-disciplined, and detail oriented 2. 3+ years of software development experiences, especially in C# or C++. 3.
