2014年欧洲机器学习与知识发现国际会议（2014 European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Database: ECML/PKDD）将于2014年9月15-19日在法国南锡召开。本次表示学习国际研讨会（RL2014）作为ECML/PKDD2014接收的欧洲深度学习领域首个研讨会，将围绕表示学习、深度学习、特征学习及其应用方向相关主题进行广泛交流与深入探讨。此次会议由北邮模式识别实验室、微软亚洲研究院及法国巴黎六大联合主办，研讨会主要议题及征稿范围包括，但不限于以下主题：
Unsupervised representation learning and its applications
Supervised representation learning and its applications
Metric learning and kernel learning and its applications
Hierarchical models on data mining
Optimization for representation learning
Other related applications based on representation learning.
