IEEE/CIC ICCC 2025 Workshop CALL FOR PAPER
6G ECOSYSTEM FOUNDRY: FROM STANDARDS TO IMPLEMENTATION
While 5G-Advanced standardization through 3GPP Releases18/19 continues to accelerate, global stakeholders are strategically positioning for the 6G horizon anticipated in Release 20 and beyond. As standards continue to evolve, industrial applications must also keep pace with the advancements.
This workshop aims map the evolutionary path from 6G foundational framework to potential industrial application on 6G standards, as well as provides a unique opportunity for some industries and researches to share their future requirements, outline issues, and obstacles they see impeding progress. The workshop is also organised with the purpose of disseminating timelines and methodologies for3GPP's phased transition to 6G studies, and cross-industry challenges in aligning technical specifications with operational realities.
This workshop invites contributions analysing paradigm shifts between 5G-Advanced and 6G, as well as visionary papers on scalable standardization strategies for emerging vertical industries. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
-Satellite, UAV and Robots into 6G communications
-Enabling technologies for Industry/ vertical networks
-Al for network
-AI for RAN
-New use case and potential requirements on 6G networks
-Integrated sensing and communication
-Testbed, trails platform for technology verification
-Massive Communication and Meta
