ZhangLab in NUS PhD and Internship Opportunities
ZhangLab is a research lab led by Prof. Zhang Yang at the National University of Singapore. Prof. Zhang is a world leading scientist of computational biology. He is well known for the protein folding algorithm I-TASSER, which was ranked as the No 1 most accurate method for protein folding eight times in a row in the CASP experiments since 2006.
We are currently seeking highly motivated PhD students and interns to join out team, focusing on cutting edge research of AI4Science with the goal of publishing at top-tier conferences and journals. Our key research areas include:
- Generative AI for Drug Discovery
- Large Language Models for Science
Requirements:
Strong coding skills in Python (ACM competition experience is a plus).
A self-driven research mindset with the ability to read and critically analyze top conference/journal papers. Prior research experience or publications are preferred. We welcome students with passion in AI4Science.
Eligibility:
This opportunity is open to both graduate students and undergraduate students who are available for reading a PhD with Prof. Zhang or a long-term internship.
