It has recently been anounced that a new resturant may be built in your neighborhood. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer. It is said that the government decides to build a new restruant in my neighborhood next year. Local people in our community have demonstrated an extreme concern on the advantages and disadvantages of the establishment of this eatery. Some people assume that this decision will provide more job opportunities and stimulate the economic in our area. However, other people argue that the resturant will pollute the fresh air and cause traffic jam since large number of people swarm into our community. As far as I am concerned, the new resturant provides pretty much benefits to our work and life. First of all, building a new resturant can surly stimulate local area’s ecnomic in the long run. No one could deny that the new resturant’s opening will provide more job opportunities for local people in our community. To run the resturant, the executives need to hire a great number of people to service the customers, cook the courses , do the washings and cleanings, which will surely benefit those people who have just lost their jobs. And what’s more, the enumous customers that the resturant brought with will be a great boost to the business in our neigborhood. Many small stores, such as clothes stores, grocery stores and even followers stores, will be built near the resturant. And secondly, the eatery will not only surge the economic but also make people’s life more comfortable. Local people needn’t to start their cars and drive miles in the dark night across the city to have a big meal. All they have to do is to take a walk in the neigborhood and open the resturant’s door. Futhermore, with more and more stores in the community, they have an easier access to daily commodities than otherwise. All this make people feel it convient to live here and their living standard is surely improved. Of course, there is some disadvantages with an eatery nearby. Since more people come to this area in their cars, there will be some traffic jam on the road. Cars will move slowly especially during lunch time. Worse more, the resturant will produce a lot of smoke during the meal time and it will make the air no more fresh. However, this little disadvantages cannot compete with the substantial advantages of building a resturant. From what has been discussed above, we can safely draw the conclusion that the reaturant should be built in the neigborhood. It can benefit both our economic and life one way or another. In addition, the resturant can solve some social problems like unemployment and contribute to our government with taxis. So in my opinion, the decision to establish a eatery is reasonable.
