Red Hat’s Focused Solutions team is looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) networking support team in China. In this role, you will work as part of a team of highly technical engineers who are passionate about cloud technologies and who enjoy both teaching and learning from one another. You'll work together with some of the best technical support engineers in the industry today while providing our customers with an outstanding level of support. Primary Job Responsibilities: Analyze upstream development against current customer-reported defects and develop patches to resolve issues Use standard and specialized diagnostic tools to investigate and troubleshoot technical issues related to Red Hat OpenStack Platform Record customer interactions including investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues Work closely with Red Hat’s development engineering teams and assist production support engineers and technical account managers Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions Maintain a commitment to providing the best experience possible for Red Hat’s customers Manage your workload to ensure that all customer issues are handled and resolved in a timely manner Assist in the development of comprehensive and reusable self-service solutions for future incidents Required Skills: Experience with Linux or UNIX system administration or support experience Basic understanding of network traffic analysis skills with ARP, IP, UDP, TCP, and SCTP Good understanding of hardware and computer architecture as well as compilers, linkers, assemblers, debuggers, loaders, and runtime environments for multiple languages Commitment to providing the best experience possible for Red Hat’s customers Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience Sound understanding of virtualization and cloud technologies; working knowledge is a plus The following are considered a plus: Experience writing scripts using Bash, Python, or Perl to troubleshoot and correct Linux networking issues Upstream involvement in open source projects, including patches submitted for upstream inclusion Direct Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Virt, VMware, hypervisor, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience is a plus Working experience with Docker and containers is a plus Network functions virtualization (NFV), DPDK, SR-IOV, or software-defined networking (SDN) experience is a plus 【如有意向，请发送简历至qihu@redhat.com】
