应北京邮电大学网络技术研究院马严教授邀请，思科专家Dave Rossetti （Research VP）、Fred Baker（Cisco Fellow）、Ralph Droms （Distinguished Engineer）和Mei Wang （Head of Cisco Asia Pacific Research）将于10月28日下午访问北邮并做精彩学术报告。会上Mr. Dave Rossetti还将介绍Cisco Research的整体情况。欢迎我校师生踊跃参加。时间：10月28日（星期三）下午2点-4点地点：教三楼136学术报告厅主持人：程时端教授讲座题目1：Collision of the Internet Architecture and the Smart Grid 主讲人：Fred Baker （Cisco Fellow, IETF前主席）内容简介： Fred Baker, among other activities, is specifying the Internet Architecture for use in the Smart Grid. In this talk, he will discuss the utility of the Internet Architecture, what may have to be changed to apply it to the Smart Grid, and what the Smart Grid can do to become truly "smart". 讲座题目2：Making the Internet Easier with IPv6 主讲人：Ralph Droms （Cisco Distinguished Engineer, senior leader at IETF）内容简介： IPv6 includes features that can automate some operational functions in a network, such as stateless address autoconfiguration and prefix delegation.
