☆─────────────────────────────────────☆ fff (小溪) 于 (Thu May 22 17:39:51 2008) 提到: 2008年由IEEE主办，中国电子学会、中国通信学会、清华大学、北京邮电大学共同协办的世界通信大会（International Conference on Communications, ICC 2008）5月19日至23日将在中国北京举行，今年会议的主题是“通信：更快、更高、更强”。借此机会，北邮校学术委员会、电信工程学院、信息工程学院等共同策划、组织ICC 2008北邮系列学术讲座，将陆续邀请到多位与会资深专家来我校作精彩的学术报告。本次活动是由电信院WT&T实验室发起，同时得到电信工程学院、信息工程学院等多个实验室的积极响应。题目：OFDMA relay networks 主讲人：Prof. Chintha Tellambura 加拿大艾伯塔大学 (University of Alberta) 主持人：杨大成教授（电信工程学院WT&T Lab）时间：2008-05-23 周五 16：00－17：30 地点：教三楼239 摘要： MIMO-OFDM/OFDMA是公认的下一代无线通信的基石。OFDM也称正交频分复用，其基本原理是将高速数据流转换成并行的低速数据流，并将数据流交织编码调制到正交的子信道上进行传输，因此频谱利用率高。OFDMA又称正交频分复用多址，它能够通过下行链路复用传输到多个用户，上行链路多址接入多个子信道，从而进一步提高频谱利用率。此外，OFDMA可以灵活地适应带宽要求，并通过固定子载波频率间隔和符号时间，减少对上层的影响。而中继(Relay)技术具有提高信号可靠性，增加系统容量和增加网络覆盖等优点。因此，OFDMA relay networks成为了现在研究的一个热点。 Prof. Chintha Tellambura简介： Dr. Chintha Tellambura is a Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta. He received the BSc degree with first-class honors from the University of Moratuwa, Sri-Lanka, in 1986, MSc from the University of London, UK, in 1988, and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria, Canada, in 1993. He was a post-doctoral fellow with the University of Victoria (1993-94) and the University of Bradford (1995-96). He was with Monash University, Melbourne, Australia from 1997 to 2002. His research interests include communication theory, modulation and coding, diversity techniques and fading, multicarrier communications and broadband wireless communications. He is an associate Editor (modulation and signal design) for the IEEE Transactions on Communications and for the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications.
