Call for Ph.D applications
Ranking in the top 2% of universities worldwide, Griffith University offers future-focused degrees that are developed in consultation with industry, based on cutting-edge research, and taught by Australia’s most awarded teachers. The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is Griffith's premier research training degree and a full-scholarship is valued at $32,192/year (support will last for 3-4 years). It is your opportunity to explore a specific research area or topic that you are passionate about. You will be challenged to develop your original research project and receive mentoring and guidance from your supervisor.
Research areas:
Network traffic analysis and machine learning-based classification;
Privacy preserving computing;
Cyber security in Internet of Things;
Creating insights from published social network data;
Any of above interests or related area.
Full-scholarship deadlines:
27 Aug 2024 for commencing on 24 Feb 2025 (international offshore students).
3 Sep 2024 for commencing on 24 Feb 2025 (international onshore students or domestic).
If you are late for above deadline, please apply 4 months (Oct 2024) prior to the next intake, 28 April 2025
Offer letters sent: November 2024.

对于不在澳洲的国际学生：2024年8月27日（申请入学时间为2025年2月24日）。

如果你错过了上述截止日期，请在下一个入学日期的前4个月申请。例如：如果入学时间为2025年7月（一年有四次入学时间），请在2024年3月前提交申请。
录取通知书发放时间： 2024年11月。
英语要求：IELTS: minimum score of 6.5, with no subscore less than 6.0 or TOEFL iBT and Paper Edition: a score of 79 (no sub-score less than 19) or Pearson Test of English PTE: an overall score of 58 with no score less than 50
