Key Objectives:
This role will support below activities for Remote Software Update PoC project:
o Simulation system set up
o Data transmission model design
o Data transmission algorithm research and optimization
o Technical report output
Major Responsibilities:
o Build up the urban traffic model by simulation tools, define the traffic flow (includes vehicle amount, trajectory, etc.)in the model.
o Design the data transmission model between vehicles, calculating the minimum time it takes until all the vehicles receive the same data.
o Come up with an optimal algorithm to achieve the more efficient transmission model.
o Output a technical report according to the results of research and simulation.
Qualification:
o Bachelor degree or above in Infectious disease model research, mathematical modeling, computer science or related.
o Good experience on urban traffic modeling.
o Good programming skills in python, or MATLAB.
o Good Database management skills such as SQL.
o Good learning and algorithm optimization capability.
o Good in oral & written English and Good communication skills.
o A creative mindset, Knowledge on V2X communication technology is a plus.
Timeframe:
o Full day (09:00am – 18:00pm), at least 4 days per week.
