JD for QA Engineer Intern Position Purpose The Software Quality Assurance will develop, maintain and execute manual test for Autotask applications and will be responsible for many of the testing activities completed during the software development life cycle. The incumbent will work under general supervision to complete all of their assigned tasks and duties, while maintaining a strict adherence to prescribed testing guidelines. Responsibilities oConduct ongoing regression and integration testing of the product oWrite, maintain and execute system test plans oWork with Development and Technical teams to efficiently troubleshoot problems oCreate Functionality vs. Requirements Traceability Matrices and Test Environment Matrices oAbility to multi-task and establish priorities oDocument all the test cases and test result including troubleshoot if any oStrong estimating and risk assessment skills. Required Knowledge & Experience oFamiliarity with test management tools, including test case management, defect tracking, and requirements traceability oTechnical QA experience with testing a variety of applications, including web, mainframe, or client/server. oAbility to respond to urgent situations appropriately by prioritization oAbility to follow up with individuals without guidance oStrong analytical and process skills oSelf-starter with high level of comfort working in an ambiguous environment.
