报告人介绍：
ProfessorEduard Hovyworks at the Language Technologies Institute of Carnegie
Mellon University. He is Co-Director for Research of the Command, Control,
and Interoperability Center for Advanced Data Analysis (CCICADA). He was wor
king at the University of Southern California, as a Fellow of its Informatio
n Sciences Institute (ISI), as Director of the Human Language Group, as Rese
arch Associate Professor in USC's Computer Science Department, and as Direct
or of Research for ISI's Digital Government Research Center DGRC).
His research focuses on several topics around aspects of the computational s
emantics of human language, including text analysis, text summarization and
generation, question answering, discourse and dialogue processing, ontologie
s, annotation, machine translation evaluation, and digital government.
