本人申的School of Computing and Informatics(研院),Department of Computer Science and Engineering,但是貌似所有院的要求都是学校的总要求吧?希望大家补充。另外,关于财产证明,我不太清楚要不要寄…… CSE更新见6楼 EE更新见8楼 http://graduate.asu.edu/admissions/admissions_checklist.htm Official Transcripts/Academic Credentials One set of official transcripts/mark sheets from every college and university from which a bachelor's or higher degree was earned must be submitted. Official Test Scores Have the official test scores required by the degree program sent to the Graduate Admissions Office by ETS. English Proficiency If you are from a country whose native language is not English, you must provide evidence of English proficiency as indicated by acceptable scores on the TOEFL or IELTS as follows: The minimum TOEFL requirement is 550 (PBT) or 80 (iBT). The minimum IELTS is an overall band score of 6.5 with no individual band below a 6.0. Individual academic units may have higher requirements. Please consult your department's website. Financial Guarantee If you are an international student, the Financial Guarantee form must be accompanied by the required bank statement. Supplemental Materials The academic unit(s) to which you have applied may require additional application materials. We recommend that you communicate directly with the academic unit(s) to determine additional requirements. If you have attended a U.S. institution, one set of official transcripts from every college and university attended, except ASU. Official GRE test scores taken within the last five years (The Advanced Graduate Record Examination in Computer Science is highly recommended for the Ph.D. program, but not required). GRE scores are not required for international students who graduated with a B.S. or a B.S.E. in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at ASU. Official TOEFL score, taken within the last two years (only required for those who did not graduate with a baccalaureate degree from an accredited U.S. institution). The TOEFL score must be valid on the first day of class for the term the student is applying for. Please see the Graduate College for TOEFL deadline dates. International students who also wish to apply for a position as a teaching assistant must submit a TSE (Test of Spoken English) score. For EE: http://ee.fulton.asu.edu/graduate/application-procedures 1) All applicants must submit the following to the Division of Graduate Studies Admissions Office: An application form Application fee Transcripts All application materials and guidelines are available from the Division of Graduate Studies (DGS) admissions Web site. Application materials are not sent directly to the Electrical Engineering Department. They are sent to the DGS as instructed on the online application. 2) International students: Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the English language by scoring at least 550 on the written Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 83 on the Internet based TOEFL (iBT). International students seeking teaching assistantships must demonstrate proficiency in spoken English by scoring at least 50 on the Test of Spoken English (TSE) or 24 on the speaking portion of the iBT. A supplemental application is part of the online form. For the master's program, applicants need to submit a statement of purpose (as requested on the online application form) but no letters of recommendation. For the PhD program, applicants must submit a statement of purpose and three letters of recomendation (both are requested on the online application form). Deadlines For all graduate programs in electrical engineering, the deadline for spring admission is August 31 for Spring 2009 and July 31 for Spring 2010 and after, and the deadline for fall admission is December 31. Application decisions will be made after those dates. Once the application is processed, Graduate Admissions will notify the applicant of the decision. Financial Assistance Teaching and research assistantships are available on a competitive basis in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Annual stipends range from $13,000 to over $30,000. Teaching assistants usually supervise undergraduate labs, while research assistants perform research applicable to their theses and dissertations. Half-time graduate assistants (20 hours/week) receive a waiver of all tuition while graduate assistants hired for less than half time (10-20 hours/week) pay 50% of resident tuition. There are no application forms for TA or RA positions.
